It creates a file out of it. It creates show a torrent on it. (A torrent is a file that indicates that a particular file is available for download from Usenet.)
Why do you create a torrent? If you are with the family, put on your website, a portal for the exchange of files or running an FTP server (like FileZilla Server) and you can download.
You can create one with uTorrent.
