We have the same problem. The main thing is that if you get only one session today often more. We used to have the opportunity to bring food and we had about 15 people come each meeting, but we met complained that we destroyed the place (which was true) bring, so that no more snacks. Participation is more than half of what you do not usually dropped.

Next week I'll be running for the Deputy Chief of Indian Affairs. I want to start a dance team from our chapter. People want to be, because they are either cold water tap until the ceremony summer camp with the insignia of interest. I think if we can make some kind of support (eg, dancing) wherever troops) into the camp of several (as in opening or closing of the fire, we get more people interested.

We now have more than 12 people in my company who went through this test. Three of us participated in the meetings. We have four of his races over two weekends. I think you'll see one of them at the meetings of osteoarthritis.

I think the key to increasing the participation of wI'll be promoting the activities of the Indians, or the camp-o-REE OA sponsor. The introduction of a conclave of success is also essential. If you need to host several members who are not attend meetings have (remember, any browser that the tests and the life of the Scout Law has passed, is an active member) to observe. Make an extra effort to involve the Arrowmen and have a good time.

I hope that helped!

I had last year, a chapter of the manager and I especially had the same problem. The best advice I can give is to try to organize a meeting to speak at the bowling ally, or a cinema. Children are much more likely to attend if they have a pretext for some fun in a night school will receive.

It could also be a good idea, a committee of the chapter gives form (as a representative of the ceremony and one of our staff, etc.) So people who are obliged to be there, and a specific job.

They say it is part of a long session in adulthood is the leading district council? If so, I suggest you speak to adults and encourage them to these meetings for scouts who are with osteoarthritis with them to meetings.

Finally, I would be the creation of an online newsletter about this, what the chapter is done. Then start collecting e-mails and see how the people who happened to report to.

I hope this is a help to you?

Forgive me if this is a little "arrogant" or "Unknown" sounds ... But how the hell have the Boy Scouts in the Order of the Arrow blatant disregard of its duties and responsibilities to scouting. I could not qualify for the OA when I was a Boy Scout - but at least I did everything possible to to my meeting you done!

For the love Criminy, it's only once a month, children should not be damaged by something! My Scoutmaster would have had every one of them to lose their badge and / or scarf.

If you are not bothered, meetings should not be members of osteoarthritis.

For Leland and who is not, e-mail ... What you say shows that one of the main differences between my generation and yours: not the "popularity contest will be placed on the market." If children do not disciplined enough to all the tasks that were able to be carried out, not receiving well-deserved honor - including the entry of osteoarthritis. The Scouting is about service and DISCIPLINE - not "popular."

I could not afford the 6 + "camp". There are enough cost to make the camping weekend a few times a year. Young people today are looking really bad, after what you say .....
